Joan Barry Hair Designers & Barbering is a distinguished, full service Salon with more than two decades of established presence in the beauty industry. Originally located in Highwood, Illinois, the Salon built a reputation for excellence, professionalism, and artistry. Following the areas, significant redevelopment and gentrification, the business transitioned to a new thoughtfully selected location in Highland Park, Illinois, continuing its legacy of high-quality service and long-standing client relationships.
FOUNDER AND MASTER STYLIST:
JOAN BARRY
JOAN BARRY, the founder and lead stylist, is recognized as a master in her field. With extensive training from leading professionals across the industry, she brings a refined expertise and precision cutting for men and women, advanced color techniques, and an ability to work skillfully with all hair types, and textures. Her commitment to excellence has earned her a loyal clientele, including many individuals who continue to return for her service, even after relocating out of state.

Joan Barry hair designers is the most beautiful place in town... The service the cleanliness fee overall atmosphere is wonderful but above all it really is Joan she just does such a magnificent job. I am there at least a couple of times a month and every time my style is perfect and talk about HAIRCUTS. Well those are just beyond belief. They last for such a long time and I am so, happy that I found her and in case I forgot to mention the color is so beautiful that everybody comments on it and wants to know where do I go for my color?
